-Experimentation and testing is a normal part of business development. No one knows it all, and I prefer to figure it out as I go because I feel I accomplish more that way.
-There is nothing new under the sun. There is no need to change something just for the sake of change. If it is not broke, why fix it?
-Change, reengineering, and innovation are part of the normal research and development process.
Excessive experimentation can put you out of business. Unfortunately, this characteristic is also a leading cause of business insolvency. New business owners with little management experience are most guilty of taking experimentation to new levels of uselessness. It is tough to build momentum when the rules keep changing. It is even more difficult when the owner keeps changing the rules plus changes the game.
A growing business is a business in a state of flux. There is a need to shift and adjust to meet the pressure of increasing demand on the business resources. It is a healthy thing to innovate and make changes; just make sure that your people have the capacity to absorb the changes otherwise it will just create another crisis when people become confused.
